Balıkesir University International Relations Research and Application Center has adopted as its fundamental mission strengthening academic knowledge in the field of international relations in a globalized world, encouraging interdisciplinary research, and contributing to the international visibility of our university.
As the General Coordination Office of International Relations, in line with our vision of carrying knowledge from the local to the universal, we are building the future with the principles of academic integrity, innovation, and inclusivity. With our Erasmus, International Student, Turkic World Mobility, European Union Projects, and National Exchange Programs Coordination Offices, which form the cornerstones of our institutional identity, we are transforming the boundaries of education from a geographical concept into a global field of development. Through student and staff exchange programs carried out within this scope, participants gain not only academic and professional achievements but also language skills and cultural awareness.
By placing our student-centered approach at the heart of our academic goals, we both offer a safe and rich academic ecosystem for our international students from all over the world and establish a broad network of cooperation extending from Europe to the Turkic World to ensure that our own students develop into global citizens. With our management philosophy that believes in the power of scientific research and cultural interaction, we view our strategic partnerships not merely as mobility programs, but as tools for sustainable development and social benefit. While contributing to the global scientific literature with our innovation-focused European Union projects, we provide our students with the opportunity to experience different academic schools of thought through our national and international exchange protocols.
